Professional Experience
Larry has over 30 years of accounting and consulting experience, serving as trusted advisor to clients in a variety of industries including manufacturing and distribution, telecommunications, healthcare, retail, technology and professional services. His experience emphasizes SEC reporting, reverse mergers and IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, financing, internal controls and forensic accounting.
Recent Engagements
SEC Reporting: Assisted with the re-filing of several Form 10’s with the SEC for new client who had struggled with getting the filings approved by the SEC. Utilized his many years of experience to correct the filings and obtain SEC approval.
Merger & Acquisition: Assisted with the structuring of several acquisitions for a public company client including dealing with several unique transaction terms requiring significant technical research and interaction with the accounting standards boards and the SEC to ensure proper accounting treatment.
IPO: Acted as lead partner for an audit client that completed an initial public offering of its stock, resulting in the company being listed on the American Stock Exchange.
Education
Larry earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Babson College, double majoring in accounting and operations research.
Organizational Involvement
Larry is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the North American Region of Polaris International and also serves on its International Board. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Dallas CPA Society. Larry is a member of the Boys & Girls Clubs Dallas Corporate Council, a 2006-2007 member of the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and he serves as a charter board member of The Dallas 100. Larry also serves on the finance and audit committees for the National Reining Horse Association.
Awards and Honors
Larry was featured in the January 2007 issue of Dallas CEO Magazine. In 2000, he received the prestigious Lone Star Pathfinder award given by the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants to a CPA who is on the leading edge of the profession and exhibits the traits of future CPAs. |
