Professional Experience
Georgia has over 10 years of accounting and auditing experience. Formerly with a national accounting firm, Georgia has worked with clients in a variety of industries including telecommunications, software development, technology, manufacturing and distribution, real estate and professional services. Georgia has experience working with privately held as well as publicly traded companies and is familiar with the SEC reporting requirements.
Recent Engagements
Audit Engagements: Managed the audit process of privately held companies for purposes of debt compliance and publicly traded companies for purposes of SEC compliance.
SEC Reporting: Assisted clients with various reporting requirements and filings including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, Registration Statements and 8-Ks.
Merger & Acquisition: Assisted with the accounting treatment for several acquisitions for a public company client including dealing with several unique transaction terms requiring significant technical research and interaction with the accounting standards boards and the SEC to insure proper accounting treatment.
Education
Georgia received a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Georgia is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), and the Dallas CPA Society. Georgia is also active in the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). |
