Connie has over nine years of accounting and auditing experience and serves as an audit principal for KBA Group. She has worked with clients in a variety of industries including manufacturing and distribution, software and technology, retail and telecommunications, among others. Connie has experience working with privately held as well as publicly traded companies and is familiar with SEC reporting requirements.
Recent Engagements
Transaction Support Services: Served as the audit senior manager for a client that raised $21 million dollars in an Initial Public Offering of its stock. The services provided include multiple years of audits, filing of the S-1 Registration Statement and issuance of a Comfort Letter to the underwriters. The client trades on the American Stock Exchange.
Audits and Reviews: Managed the audit process of both privately held companies for purposes of debt compliance and publicly traded companies for purposes of SEC compliance.
SEC Reporting: Assisted clients with various reporting requirements and filings including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, Registration Statements and 8-Ks.
Accounting Matters: Assisted various companies in complex accounting matters including accounting for revenue recognition, stock-based compensation and other complex equity transactions.
Education
Connie received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in accounting from Texas Christian University.
