	America's Top Auditors For several consecutive years, KBA has been listed as one of “America's Top Auditors” by Bowman FirstAlert, a publication of the accounting industry. The ranking is based on a weighted ranking of total clients, total sales audited and average sales per public client audited.

	Dallas Business Journal Top 10 Metroplex CPA Firm KBA Group LLP is one of the Top Ten certified public accounting firms headquarted in the Dallas/ Fort Worth Metroplex and the third largest locally-based firm, according to the Dallas Business Journal. The most recent list was published in January 2009 and is based on the number of local professionals in 2008.

	Inside Public Accounting Best of the Best Honorable Mention Firm KBA has been named an INSIDE Public Accounting Best of the Best Honorable Mention Firm for 2008. Each year, only 25 firms in the country earn the honorable mention designation which pays tribute to wise management and superior operational performance. The selection process for the Best of the Best begins with IPA's Annual Survey and Analysis of Firms which included close to 250 firms. The firms were then ranked on approximately 50 criteria, excluding fee size and location. Revenues for the winning firms ranged from $4.6 million to $493 million.

	Best Places to Work In 2008, KBA Group was named one of the 2008 Best Places to Work in the Dallas/ Fort Worth Metroplex. This prestigious business award competition is sponsored annually by the Dallas Business Journal.

	Top 25 Most Dynamic Companies KBA Group has been voted the Most Dynamic Business in Addison and the North Dallas area. This distinction was voted on by readers of the Addison and North Dallas Corridor Magazine and published in their Spring/Summer 2007 issue.

	Journal of Accountancy Highlighted in the September 2005 issue of the Journal of Accountancy in an article titled “Second-CPA-Firm Update“. The article focuses on the trend for companies to engage a second, highly qualified public accounting firm with the same core competencies as the national and international firms to meet their growing needs, especially the ongoing requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley. KBA’s managing partner, Larry King, is interviewed and quoted on topics including Section 404 implementation, SAS 70 reports for service organizations and internal control maintenance and remediation.

	Practice Innovation Award Recognized with a Practice Innovation Award for 2005 by The Practical Accountant for Risk Advisory Services practice development. This award annually recognizes accounting firms that are taking the lead in developing new or improved services, and promoting efficiency in the practice of public accounting.

	Marketing Achievement Award KBA Group was presented with a Marketing Achievement Award in 2005 by the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM). Awards presented by AAM at the annual conference recognize firms, in two different categories, for a variety of marketing achievements. KBA was awarded first place for a marketing campaign in the firm category of under 75 professionals. This winning campaign created awareness of KBA's ability to assist companies required to comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX).

	NDCC Small Business of the Year 2000 KBA Group was the Small Business of the Year for 2000, awarded by the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce. Among the criteria for the award are: innovative leadership regarding clients, employees and within the industry; high quality of products or services, involvement in the community, high ethical standards, in business at least 3 years, 300 or fewer employees. Also taken into consideration is the growth and development of the company in the North Dallas economy.

	Lone Star Pathfinder The Texas Society of CPAs awarded Larry King, Managing Partner, the designation of Lone Star Pathfinder. The TSCPA identified Larry as a CPA who will lead the profession into the future by serving as a role model today in his professional life. In his letter of designation, Robert McAdams, 1999-2000 TSCPA Chairman said, "The CPA Vision calls for a future where CPAs deliver value by communicating the total picture, translating complex information into current knowledge, anticipating and creating opportunities and designing pathways that transform vision into reality. You are among the first group of our members who have been identified by their chapters as CPAs that aren't just wondering about the reality of the future — they are living that reality today."
